I’ve decided to sew quiet book for my son. He is currently reaching to 2 yrs old. Unfortunately, I’ve added too much details that I think the quiet book will take a long time to finish. I guess by that time, he will learn how to appreciate more instead of putting everything in his mouth and bite.

This is the cover page. I haven’t add a few words, “My Quiet Book”, the “My” & “Book”. Borders also only less than halfway done.

The 2nd page & 3rd page is like this……

The 2nd page is of a boy fishing…. The net contains some fishes which can be put onto the 3rd page. The fishes are actually magnetic and some parts of the 3rd page are sewn with magnets so that the fishes can be stick onto it. It’s a bit crumpled on both pages, but I guess kids don’t fuss about that when they have the fun.

The 3rd & 4th pages….. 3rd page teaches how to tie the shoe lace & the 4th page is actually on breakfast. I do not have space to put the fruits. Most likely I will add on to the 4th page and sew a so-call mini fridge to put all the fruits in. Meanwhile, it only have small basket to magnet a few fruits. Will sew more fruits at a later stage. There is also a cup with the drinks. The drink can change colour when remove the felt. I sewn white, orange & yellow. I think they can make up as a drink call milk, orange juice & lemonade…. haha.

Thinking of planning more, like dressing up page, flower page & cars on the road page. Got many ideas when I search online. All thanks to them.

It takes approximately 2 days to complete. I’ve managed to find a good website that teaches how to make such nice pop-up birthday card.

You just need to be creative in recycling boxes. Small boxes  can be used to make drawers whereas big boxes to hold the drawers and make a tray to hold the baby diapers.

Get a nice wrapping paper to wrap the boxes. As for the handles of the drawers, I used children’s colourful brick non sharpening crayon. Some people do sew their own baby organizer to hold baby diapers too. I chose the boxes type as there are too many boxes at home and while recycling them it also serves as a good purpose in organising baby’s room.

After that successful attempt, I try to make “Banana Crumb Muffins” yesterday. It’s a success!!!

After months (I think) of knitting and with the help of library book, I’ve finally managed to complete knitting a baby’s blanket. I guess not many ppl would want to knit or even know how to knit nowadays with the new discovery of machine knit.

I knit for fun and in such a hot weather like Singapore, I guess this blanket has to be hang for decoration or when air-con is ON. I do not want rashes on baby’s delicate skin.

After making the rice, you have to put vinegar powder. You can purchase from the supermaket at the section where they usually display the Japanese stuffs,  sauces, etc for purchase.

Try to buy small amounts….. like small cucumber, etc unless you are making for gatherings. Btw, I’ve searched the website and most of the chefs actually use avocado in their sushi. Therefore, you can consider buying avocado to add in too.
